Solar Energy

Q Sentral was designed with 28 solar panels on the rooftop which capable of generating up to 18MWh per month subject to the local weather forecast. The power generated by the solar panel system is supplied to support the operation of the Cooling Towers which is part of the building chilled water air conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) system.

The solar energy system at Q Sentral plays a significant role in reducing the building’s reliance on traditional energy sources. The data presented in this document highlights the system’s consistent performance in generating electricity, contributing to the building’s sustainable operations. The system demonstrates a reliable and efficient method of harnessing solar energy, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and lowering the building’s overall carbon footprint.
